I am so tired!

When does school start? Henry is exhausted from all the summers activity. Big brother Troy enjoys giving him a piggy-back ride. Katie turned 6 on the 27th. She is counting the days until school. Henry turned 1 on the 17th. He went to the doctor for his 1 year baby well check. He weighs 23 pounds and is 31 inches tall. I looked back in the other kids records and he is the exact weight and height as Bryan at age one. Because of recent news about the Mattel toys imported from China, which contain lead, the doctor wanted Henry tested for lead in his blood. The finger-prick test came out slightly high. I brought him in to have his blood drawn. Thankfully that test result was low. Needless to say, I'm ridding my house of Mattel toys. Amber and I attended 6th grade orientation last evening. My daughter is bursting with excitment to officially be a middle-schooler.

The lazy days of summer

Kyle is dead-eye Dick. He reduced the bluejay population slightly. Troy is Aaron's hero. Troy is shooting at a target with his bow. Eddie cools off in this cement mixing sled on the hot days. Nathan cut his own hair. Cute huh? Kyle turned 10 on the 5th of August. Yesterday Henry discovered a wet spot in the sand from Eddie's "pool." He crawled into the muddy sand and splashed wildly. I think he resembles an O-Henry bar. Yummy!
